Job description About Us : A small but growing business based in Portsmouth dealing with transport of vehicles, primarily coordinating trade plate drivers for delivery of commercial and trade vehicles. We have an exciting opportunity for a new member to join our small but busy transport office. Job Type / Category Primary duties include :

  • Assisting the Transport Manager with administration, communication and customer liaison.
  • Job booking and administration from creation to completion.
  • Transport administration.
  • Driver queries and assistance.
  • Real time issues, for example arranging breakdown recovery. Required Education, Skills and Qualifications
  • Experience within the Transport industry and knowledge of transport regulation is desirable.
  • Knowledge of the UK road system or ability to learn quickly.
  • Highly motivated, organised and resilient.
  • Can demonstrate a high level of customer service skills.
  • Ability to deal with stressful situations and make quick decisions in problem solving.
  • Ability to take control and manage drivers when needed.
  • Familiarity with spreadsheets and working with an online portal system
  • Familiarity with Apple Mac and OSX operating systems.
  • Creative thinker. Salary
  • Subject to experience
  • 20-25k dependent on experience Monday - Friday 8.30 - 5.30pm

Salary : £20,000.00-£25,000.00 per year
