Job summary An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Fertility Specialist Nurse to join our well established Nursing and Midwifery team at CRM. This role is a full-time contract with shift patterns Monday to Friday, and a rotational Saturday rota. The successful candidate will provide high quality, expert advice and support with regards to all aspects of investigations and treatments within assisted conception, providing clinical leadership and management support within the speciality of Reproductive Medicine. The post holder will deputise for the Nurse Manager as required. Main duties of the job Accountable for own actions in accordance with the Code of Professional Conduct. Will contribute to corporate activities, acting within local, Trust and statutory guidelines and policies at all timesEffectively communicate information regarding clinical decisions, policy and care pathways to patients/carers and the multi-professional teamA skilled practitioner and clinical leader providing support to the management team, participating in service/policy developmentResponsible for clinical assessment of patients, ensuring appropriate care is planned, implemented and evaluated/audited.
