Year 1 Teacher - Key Responsibilities

• This school are looking for a dynamic professional to join their KS1 team and make a valuable contribution to the school.
• A committed practitioner who will attain the highest standards of teaching and learning in Year 1 and demonstrate professionalism in every aspect of the job.
• An ability to plan and deliver effective, engaging lessons that are relevant and meaningful and relate to real life scenarios
• Well-resourced lessons that are differentiated to allow all learners to maximise their potential
• A reflective practitioner who will assess, record and report on pupil performance in addition to monitoring social and emotional well-being
• An individual who values parents as partners in the learning process and endeavours to support a classroom community where pupils take ownership and accountability for their learning in and beyond the classroom
• A team player who will share best practice with others and be open minded to adopting new strategies based on advice and success of others
• A dedicated teacher who will positively contribute to extracurricular activities and attend wider school events in the local community.
