French Speaking Credit Control Assistant

Robert Half Finance and Accounting are currently looking to recruit a French-Speaking Credit Controller to join a growing Business North Bristol. For the right person, the client is offering a very competitive: Up to £28,000 plus excellent benefits Applicants are welcome with little to no experience working in Credit Control or Finance, but will need to be fluent in English and French, both written and verbal. As well as this, you will need to be personable, able to build and maintain relationships and have a self-starter approach. This is a great opportunity, where you will be provided with full training and support, as well as have the chance to become a qualified member of the Chartered Institute of Credit Management. Role responsibilities will include but not limited to: Monitor customer credit limits, ensuring customers are notified accordingly upcoming payments, according to agreed payment terms Contacting customers via phone or email in regard to overdue payments, working closely with the credit manager to provide solutions where necessary, and make sure outstanding credit is satisfactorily recuperated Ensure credit limits are correct depending on the customer and that credit cards are stopped if needed, to mitigate financial risk Produce credit reports on a weekly basis Maintain customer records and information accurately Set up new customer accounts in a timely manner Provide relevant financial information to customers on request Other ad hoc tasks as required Person specification: Fluent in French and English, verbal and written Ideally experience working in a similar role, or within a Finance Department although candidates without direct experience will be considered Excellent communication skills and relationship building ability Must be a self-starter/completer but also work well in a team environment Good IT skills and able to learn new systems quickly Benefits: Study support for CICM Hybrid working: 3 days in the office 2 days wfh 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, with extra days accrued through length of service Nation-wide discounts through employee benefit scheme Great prospects for progression and development Parking For the right person, the client is offering a very competitive: Up to £28,000 plus excellent benefits Robert Half Ltd acts as an employment business for temporary positions and an employment agency for permanent positions.
