Assistant Finance Manager

We are excited to be recruiting an Assistant Finance Manager to work for an established business based in Kingswinford. The company are going from strength to strength so now is a good time to join the business. The role of the Assistant Finance Managerwill report to the Finance Manager. The main duties of the role are: - To prepare, and deliver timely, complete, and accurate Management Information for the Company on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis. - To prepare monthly management accounts - Contribute to the preparation of the monthly Finance board pack. - Update and maintain relevant KPIs for both financial and non-financial measures. - Monitor costs - To complete variance analysis on a monthly basis and report on key areas. - Assist with working capital management, to optimise the company's cash position. - Upload invoices & credits - Complete invoice finance reconciliations to the sales ledger. - Sales Ledger, Purchase Ledger, and Cashbook finalised journal entries - Raising invoices, deposits, and processing credit notes - Assisting the business with finance queries - Pulling off weekly reports - Processing journals - Clearing down of customer accounts - Reconcile all balance sheet ledgers via blackline (have recently gone back to manual balance sheet reconciliations via excel/word/manual sign off) - Manage all payroll queries - Excellent analytical skills. Ability to analyses, evaluate and recommend. - Experience of ERP systems - Strong communication skills - Creative problem solving - Excellent time management - AAT Level qualified an advantage. In return the company will provide full product training, a competitive salary, £32,000 to £35,000, 25 days holiday plus bank holidays and a stable work environment.
