We are seeking dedicated, compassionate A&E ENP nurses and offer fantastic work opportunities giving you the flexibility to work around your lifestyle. Roles of an ENP ENPs assess, diagnose, treat and discharge patients, often in the ‘Minors’ area of the department. They work within guidelines agreed with the clinical lead of an emergency department. The role might involve: Patient assessment, including pain assessment and managementDiagnosing problems such as sprains, strains, cuts and bites, giving medication (orally or via injection), and treating minor injuries including burns and woundsReading and assessing X-raysAdministering some medications, including antibioticsRecording ECG examinationsDischarging patients when appropriate ENP Role requirements NMC registrationRecent 6 months experience in the last 12 monthsEvidence of completion of v300 prescribing certificateFull EPP clearance of immunisations2 clinical references to provide your ENP skills Why Pulse?
