About the Opportunity As a result of an increasing portfolio of projects and desire to strengthen the digital operations capability within our Decommissioning and Regeneration Solutions business, an exciting opportunity has arisen for a Transformation and Change Specialist to join the team in Birchwood, Warrington.

You will be involved in developing our internal capability to incorporate Transformation and Change, working at the forefront of the nuclear industry to bring about cultural and human performance transformation.

You will work to develop and implement strategies that will enable our clients to achieve their long-term goals, working with functional owners, conducting in-depth analysis of target operational processes to identify solutions for improvements achieving the desired end state, facilitating and monitoring implementation of new strategies and process improvements.

Being part of the Decommissioning and Regeneration Solutions business offers a unique opportunity to cultivate change and creativity in digital disruption, plant ownership, engineering, safety and delivery solutions across some of the most complex industrial sites in the UK, if not the world.

In particular, we are seeking individuals with demonstrable experience in one or more of the following specialisms:

  • Driving Digital Transformation in client organisations - from small scale agile service to large scale platform designs and implementations.
  • Digital and IT strategy setting and development.
  • Digital Transformation and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) implementation.
  • Expertise in science and technology relevant to the future of Nuclear Decommissioning such as automation and artificial intelligence.
  • Consultancy experience related to management of degraded or no longer operational facilities, or other infrastructure and industrial sectors such as energy, rail, transit, highways, water, climate response, aviation, defence, ports and buildings.

Responsibilities

  • Be part of a team tasked with disrupting the industry and leading the digital revolution
  • Connect transformation / change principles with leading technological solutions to deliver true value to client assets / liabilities
  • Inform and facilitate the formation of strategies in the context of digital, IT and ERP
  • Drive sourcing and selection processes to help Clients identify the right solutions
  • Ensure that the business changes of organisation and processes are done as required to realise the expected effects
  • Managing projects and leading workstreams across the following areas: programme delivery models, transformation programmes, change management, strategy and vision, operating models, organisation design, benefits management, innovation and maturity assessments.
  • Developing and maintaining client and stakeholder relationships
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with stakeholders at all levels where required
  • Self-start in delivering work in a programme and/or project environment with multiple stakeholders; operating in cross-business teams, including digitally enabled programmes.
  • Manage assigned projects within established scope, schedule, and budget while exceeding project management standards
  • Train and mentor team members (internal and external where agreed) on formally established process improvement methodologies
  • Ability to work remotely whilst successfully achieving deliverable based outcomes through a virtual team.
