Trainee Countryside Ranger - Torbay Coast and Countryside Trust

This is a fantastic 9-12 month training opportunity set in the beautiful countryside of South Devon. We are recruiting for Long-term Volunteers for Berry Head National Nature Reserve.

The placement gives the opportunity to work on a wide variety of sites and habitats, including SSSI calcareous grassland, LNR Woodlands and the stunning South West Coast Path. The Berry Head site is a National Nature Reserve.

The main focus will be on delivering the practical countryside management programme. Some of the key work areas include habitat management and woodland management in winter, and coast path cutting and footpath maintenance in the summer.
