Job description

We are looking for a part time clinic assistant for our Travel Covid testing centre in the heart of Reigate, Surrey, you must be able to commute very easily to Reigate.

As well as doing Covid Tests we have been given the green light to start other forms of testing as well.

This role

DAM Health are the leading providers for numerous Clinic tests throughout the UK. Most known for their fit to fly PCR testing.

The Clinic is looking for an energetic, personable, and highly organised individual who has experience in healthcare. Crucially, we are looking for an individual who will be confident to run the clinic and deal with the clients reporting to the clinic manager.

• Conduct throat and nasal swabs of patients seeking to know if they have COVID-19 for fit to fly/work purposes
• Demonstrate customer service and compassion when interacting with patients and staff
• Greet customers appropriately. Treat all customers in a courteous manner.
• Demonstrates proficiency of proper collection methods and proper processing of all specimens.
• Understand the importance of correct PPE and have an ability to follow strict donning and doffing policy in line with company policy.
• Strict Infection control knowledge, training will be provided.

Requirements :

• Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
• Excellent customer service skills with patient interaction.
• Knowledge of medical terminology is preferred however training is provided.
• Ability to work as a team, Strong team player
• Ability to make decisions and use initiative.
• Sensitive but friendly persona
• Previous experience of covid-19 test administration desirable but not essential.
• Applicant will be working with a booking system on an iPad/laptop
• Confidence
• Work well under pressure

FULL TRAINING GIVEN

Role is on a self-employed basis

Part time

You will be called when needed, most work will come on weekends with the occasional shift coming up in the week.

When other staff members go on holiday you will also be called to see if you can cover.

Job Types : Part-time, Temp to perm, Zero hours contract Contract length: 6 months Part-time hours: 13 per week

Salary : £10.00 per hour
