At Gregory Distribution, we are currently seeking a Quality Systems Advisor at our Cullompton site.

The position of Quality Systems Advisor involves:

  • Manage and maintain effective documentation control, Quality Customer Reports and libraries for Quality and H&S.
  • Lead on highlight due dates on departments documentation, these will include risk assessment, company /site specific procedures, calibration certificates and forms.
  • Assist in conducting internal audits across the group sites against an agreed schedule.
  • This role will involve travelling to other sites across the UK with some overnight stays, to carry out audits.
  • Champion and promote Quality Culture Plans across our sites, developing this area to its full potential with the Quality Team.
  • Updating Group Quality non-conformance action log and supporting the operational teams with action closure within set timescales.
  • Ensuring full understanding of the company’s quality policies, procedures to performing functions for the quality team.
  • Encourage and support root cause & continuous improvement approach.
  • Review and maintain the accuracy of records, editing where necessary to ensure they are up to date.
  • Collating information for monthly/quarterly KPI’s.
  • Tracking and monitoring budget for the Quality Team.
  • Register 3rd party accreditation (BRC, ISO) to include reporting with support of closure of any resulting actions.
  • Essential skills required for Quality Systems Advisor:

  • Proven experience of conducting Internal Audits ideally with BRC or ISO experience.
  • Additional qualifications such as Food Hygiene, HACCP etc. are advantageous.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Working to deadlines.
  • Able to work as part of a team and on your own initiative.
  • Strong strategic focus and continuous improvement experience.
  • Solution driven and Flexible approach to your work.
  • Able to work as part of a team and on own initiative.
  • MS packages to include, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
  • Additional qualifications such as Food Hygiene, HACCP, Internal Auditing etc. are all highly desirable.

  • Salary for Quality Systems Advisor is between £28,000pa - £32,000pa, depending on experience.
  • Contracted hours of work are Monday to Friday, 08:30hrs – 17:00hrs. (Flexibility will be required depending on location and audit timings.)
