Role:HR Administrator

Location: Remote but must be able to get to Lakeside, Portsmouth if required

Duration: 6 Months

Rate: Inside IR35 £11.60/hr. PAYE/ £15.00/hr. Umbrella

My client is looking for an experienced HR Administrator to carry out transactional HR activity on Lifecycle HR Administrative and Payroll processes and respond to inquiries; in accordance with legislation, suggested best practice and Babcock proceduresand guidelines.

The role will regularly interact with Internal, Line Managers for relevant Business Unit/s, HR Advisors & HRBPs for the relevant Business Unit/s, Employees, Group Payroll, Finance, Group Pensions, Babcock SSC, External, Pension Schemes

Qualifications :

  • GCSE Maths & English
  • CIPD

  • Sound administrative skills
  • Good verbal & written communication skills
  • Proficient in Excel and Word
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Experience of HR databases
  • Awareness of HR policy & procedures
  • Previous customer service experience
  • Understanding of GDPR legislation as it affects the role

Responsibilities

  • Collate and check monthly payroll submissions from line manager submissions
  • Prepare and mail all letters required as a result of payroll and other HR actions
  • Update attendance records on HR System and include on payroll spreadsheets if required
  • Ensure all employee information is processed accurately and checked
  • Maintain accurate systems information within scope of role and in line with current GDPR legislation
  • Maintain all deadlines, promises and action plans communicated to management, customers or required by process.
  • Refer queries to the HR Senior Administrator as required
  • Process all requests effectively, accurately, and efficiently and in accordance with procedures.
  • Provide basic information on policies and procedures to line managers, employees, and HR Advisors.
  • Any other HR related duties at request of Head of HRTH SSC, Team Manager or Senior HR Administrator
  • Protecting assets from unauthorized access, disclosure, modification, destruction, or interference
  • Processing all HR administration lifecycle events

Key Outputs/Deliverables

  • Monthly Payrolls submitted accurately and on time
  • All HR actions approved in line with issued authority list, procedures, and guidelines.
