The job itself : A 24-year-old young man, living in Preston with severe autism and at times challenging behaviours, is seeking 1 or 2 Personal Assistants to support for 12 hours per week. As this role includes every weekend, it could be split between 2 workers on a rota basis.
The role will be to support the young man in the home. There is a family dog (long haired Jack Russell).
The role involves personal care such as support bathing and toileting. Light domestic tasks will be required to be completed. The role will include preparing food and drinks.
A reliable and committed person is required for this role.
DBS/Reference checks will be required for this post - Cost to be met by the local authority.
