As a Special Needs Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing personalized support to students with a range of disabilities, ensuring they receive the guidance and care they require to excel in their educational journey. Your responsibilities will include: Collaborating with the lead teacher to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for each student.

Assisting in creating a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes learning and growth.

Providing one-on-one assistance to students with daily activities, including academic tasks, personal care, and social interactions.

Implementing behavior management strategies and techniques to foster positive behavior and self-regulation.

Supporting students during therapy sessions, inclusion activities, and field trips.

Monitoring and recording student progress, documenting observations, and providing feedback to the lead teacher and parents.

Collaborating with the interdisciplinary team, including therapists and parents, to ensure a comprehensive support network for each student.

Requirements : A genuine passion for working with individuals with special needs and a commitment to their well-being.

Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar role is preferred.

Patience, compassion, and the ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet individual student needs.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to work effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.

Knowledge of various disabilities and understanding of inclusive teaching practices.

The ability to remain calm under pressure and handle challenging situations with professionalism and empathy.

Relevant certifications or training in special education or related fields are desirable but not mandatory.
