About the apprenticeshipDutiesDuties will include learning how to safely perform maintenance and servicing on light vehicles, working with replacement components such as tyres, brakes, clutches, gearboxes, etc. Duties will expand as experience develops. Other duties will be allocated as appropriate, candidate must ensure they meet health and safety responsibilities at all times when working in a functioning garage environment. Whilst in full-time employment you will undertake the following qualifications:Level 2 VCQ Diploma in Light Motor Vehicle Maintenance & Repair CompetenceLevel 2 VRQ Diploma in Light Motor Vehicle Maintenance & Repair PrinciplesEssential Communication SkillsEssential Application of Number SkillsEssential Digital Literacy SkillsAdditional informationBefore applying for this position please ensure you are able to travel to and from the place of employment in Aberdare and to the XR Training Centre in Pyle once a week. You will be employed full-time as an apprentice by this company based in Aberdare.
