Job Title: Primary Early Years Level 3 Teaching Assistant Location: Kingston, SUrbiton Job Type: Contract, Full-Time hours (8:30am-3:30pm) Primary Industry: Education and Training Salary: £85 - £95 Per day Benefits: Plus CPD Job Duties: • Assist the primary teacher in delivering lessons and supporting students • Implementing strategies for behaviour management • Provide support in phonics, PECS, cued articulation, and British Sign Language • Utilise bar modelling techniques to aid in teaching mathematical concepts Required Qualifications: Level 3 Teaching and Learning in schools Education: Minimum of Level 3 Teaching and Learning in schools qualification Experience: Prior experience working as a Teaching Assistant in a primary school setting Desirable Knowledge and Skills: • Strong understanding of phonics and behaviour management techniques • Proficiency in PECS, cued articulation, and British Sign Language • Familiarity with bar modelling for teaching mathematical concepts Preferred Qualifications: Additional certifications in relevant areas of education and special needs support Working Conditions: This role involves working in a primary school environment, supporting teachers and students during school hours.
