We are looking for a Customer Service & Technical Support team-member to join Airbus Defence & Space on our Secure Communications team in Corsham, Wiltshire.

This role is in Secure Communications for the Cyber Security Project; an exciting and varied area of the business that supports the project and customer from delivery to live service.

The Operations team is the single point of contact for technical conference bridge calls, which are arranged to resolve major incidents. You will fill a service support role for the Network Operations Centre to providing technical assistance and instructional documentation to the customer and orchestrate the day to day support and maintenance of the system.

Your Tasks & Accountabilities

  • Manage interface and communications with all customers
  • Provide technical expertise, single point of contact for queries and support
  • Resolve complex faults and issues
  • Analyze impact and approve changes to product/system/network
  • Interface control to linked product/system/networks
  • Publish internal & external reports about activity & performances evaluation
  • Oversee upgrade and patch management and configuration
  • Local Store Maintenance and Hardware Repair Assessment (Workstations, hard disks and other configuration. CMOS/ backup battery life monitoring and replacement)

Desired Skills & Experience

  • Strong Technical competence in Server Technologies and Networking
  • Experience with Cisco Routers, Cisco Switches, Network Server Applications, Gateways and Firewalls
  • Strong skills in interpreting, producing and tracking technical documentation
  • Ability to communicate effectively written and verbally with stakeholders and customers at all levels
