Head of IT Infrastructure - Permanent - Radstock - Up to £65k - Hybrid Working Hays are working with an organisation based in Radstock who are looking to recruit for a new Head of IT Infrastructure on a permanent basis. The role will pay between £55,000 - £65,000 depending on experience (may flex higher depending on experience) and isoffered on a hybrid working basis, 2/3 days on site per week. Within the role you will:
- Be responsible for managing the firms IT technologies and technical team of service desk & infrastructure personnel.
- Get involved in technical aspects and help develop best practice IT standards and procurers throughout the business.
- Ensure high availability of critical systems for the business minimising risk and downtime
- Engage with various stakeholders including internal staff, 3rd party vendors and suppliers
- Manage overall capacity and utilisation of Server and hardware - ensuring it is optimised to meet business requirements
The key requirements to be considered for the role include:
- Hands on management experience in a IT infrastructure environment, leading on IT services.
- Technical knowledge of core tech such as Windows Servers, Azure Active Directory, LAN/WAN, firewalls, Vmware etc.
- Knowledge of IT security across various levels
- Must have excellent communication skills and be able to work with stakeholders internally and externally at different levels
