We have an exciting opportunity for an individual to provide a professional leadership role for education and training across the Psychological Professions (PP) in SPFT. The person in this role will join the Director of PP, Nick Lake, and Associate Directors of PP, Sophie Holmes and Nick Grey, in the central PP directorate. It would suit someone wanting to gain more experience in providing professional leadership and supporting the expansion of the PP workforce, including our relationships and worktogether with universities.
The work will include responsibilities across the range of PP E&T activities, as the NHS look to expand the psychological professions. These include pre-registration roles such as the scheme to increase access to clinical psychology with Assistant Psychologists from underrepresented backgrounds. The post-holder will support the trust's core professional placement provision, and provision of CPD, across the psychological professions.
The post holder will utilise research skills for audit, service development and research within education and training of PP and maintain and develop relationships with training providers.
