Working as a support assistant is an exciting opportunity for someone who likes variety in their work and doesn’t mind working shifts. We are looking for a versatile and personable employee who will provide operational support and amazing client service.

As a support assistant you will : Provide outstanding client support

  • Develop and use an in-depth knowledge of Tabletop technology
  • Ensure superb levels of customer service are delivered and that client questions and issues are resolved within response time targets

Test software

  • Run full software tests on new development ahead of new releases
  • Test functionality ensuring software is bug free and ready for deployment
  • Ensure support and software testing checklists are up to date

Prepare equipment, ensuring hardware is tested and ready for installation

Fix equipment

Assist with installations at client sites around the UK

Contribute where required to training development across all aspects of the business for both clients and colleagues

You must have :

  • Experience in support/helpdesk, customer service
  • Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail
  • Be able to meet deadlines and work within targets
  • Experience in software testing
  • A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (mileage to clients will be reimbursed)
  • Your own laptop (not desktop)

Working Hours

This is a varied role with shift patterns from 8am to midnight seven days a week although you will only be expected to work an average of 37.5 per week. Day shifts that are not visiting client venues will be based in our operations office in Milton, Portsmouth. Evening shifts will be remote working from home.

Please note that we are not a call centre but use support tickets online.

Salary : From £22,000.00 per year
