As the Security Manager, you will play a crucial role in promoting security throughout the business, ensuring that Southern Water's assets - including people, processes, and premises - are securely maintained and compliant with regulatory standards. You will build and maintain effective relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.In this role, you will oversee and manage the daily operations of the Operational Security Team, providing support and guidance to ensure team tasks are completed within KPI timeframes. You will be responsible for managing the workload of Security Advisors and Specialists, ensuring KPIs and proactive work streams are met, particularly regarding SRA and OR production. Additionally, you will provide the internal QA process prior to reports being distributed to the wider business.We are looking for someone with extensive experience in leading, guiding, and mentoring a security team through change, upskilling, and implementing new procedures within a regulated industry. Proven experience in remote/hybrid working and team management is essential, as well as a demonstrated ability to build excellent relationships with key internal stakeholders and negotiate effectively at senior management levels.While a BTEC in Security Management is beneficial, extensive experience in a similar role, in a regulated industry, managing multiple sites across a wide region is crucial.
