Management Accountant

12-14 Month+ Contract

£40-47k

Highly successful IT sector client is seeking a Mgmt Accountant to cover a 12-14 month maternity leave contract. The business is growing a healthy rate and has a dynamic office environment. Reporting directly to a qualified Financial Controller as part ofa 7 person team, this individual will be responsible for mgmt. accounts production for their UK entity.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Monthly Management Accounts
  • Review of all orders and analysis of revenue recognition
  • Monthly Commission production and liaison with Sales team queries
  • Review of salespersons performance versus target
  • Prepayments and Accruals
  • Production of a suite of management reports each month
  • Contact during audit on assessment of order recognition
  • Invoicing reviews and credit note analysis
  • IFRS adjustments
  • Other ad-hoc duties

Skills & Experience :

  • Knowledge and experience of IFRS reporting
  • Excellent communication skills both oral and written
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, the ability to work cross-functionally and interact confidently with multiple stakeholders
  • Be robust and resilient in approach
  • Excellent planning and organisational skills with the ability to prioritise, manage time effectively, and work to deadlines
  • A self-starter with the ability to work independently
  • Flexible with a "can do" approach
  • The ability to work calmly under pressure
  • Highly proficient in Excel and Sage products
  • Team player - understands the importance of collaborative working
