Night Care Assistant, Elderly Residential & Dementia Barnsley, South Yorkshire £10.50 ph Full-time, part-time, nights, permanent, bank
Amari Care is looking for an enthusiastic and committed Night Care Assistant who is customer-focused and dedicated to delivering outstanding, high quality care. You will need to possess good communication skills and a genuine passion for caring for elderly people living with dementia.
The role will challenge you to use your knowledge, skills and experience to help create an environment where outstanding person-centred care is consistently delivered. You will be responsible for the wellbeing of residents with a wide range of needs, promoting their independence, choice and dignity at all times.
Our home is a warm & friendly environment with 34 service users.
A team player - an ability to work efficiently with nursing & carer colleagues to ensure that the best possible service levels are offered to residents, with a person-centred approach.
Quality care - must ensure delivery of a high standard of care, continually assessing our residents’ needs and wishes to enhance their quality of life.
Record-keeping - must adhere to clear & concise daily record-keeping practices at all times, of all aspects of a resident’s care in accordance to CQC guidelines.
The offer of a position within our organisation is conditional on the premise of successful completion of the DBS process and satisfactory references. Portable DBS welcome.
