Residential Support Worker

Location - Spalding, Lincolnshire

Hours - 37.5 weekly with an average of 5 sleeps a month Full-Time Role

As a core member of the team, you’ll be expected to work autonomously and provide the best care possible for service users. We will help you achieve your goals through continuous professional development and the promise of progression.

This will be through the various training packages that you will be assisted in completing when you are preparing to start your new job and the promise of completing the qualification of an NVQ Level 3 in Children’s Residential. With this qualification, it will look brilliant on your CV if you ever wanted to work with children or in a residential setting again as you will gain relevant experience in the role. But also - as a result of completing the qualification - you will qualify as a senior which will see a pay increase also!

What you’ll be doing as a Residential Support Worker - To support the children and young people in all day-to-day activities and interests. To promote the young person's independence and well-being for children with EBD and challenging behaviours. To attend weekends away, holidays and trips away with the Children. To attend weekend and evening activities to support the children and young people in their interests. This can range from climbing and baking cakes to weekend activities away! To protect the children and young people from any risks to their health and welfare. To provide emotional and practical support to the young people within your home.

To be successful in the role we do ask for a few requirements, these being: Be over the age of 21 Have a driving license and access to a vehicle

Some type of experience - working in care, working with children or life experience is welcomed!

Salary : Up to £29,000.00 per year
