Warehouse Assistant Food Packing

Our client is recruiting for Warehouse Assistants for their food packing contract within a busy logistics warehouse in Ridgmont, Milton Keynes/Bedford border. The successful candidate will be responsible for working, as part of a team, along a conveyor-belt system placing sealed food products correctly in to the kit boxes as they pass. The line moves at a quick pace.Monday-Friday 6am-2pm/2pm-10pm. Flexibility is required.The job is carried out in a controlled food environment and it is a legal requirement that you always wear the provided mob cap, beard snood (if applicable), white overcoat and shoe protectors and regularly sanitise your hands. As Warehouse Assistant your duties will include: Working along the Line, positioning the sealed food products (salsa pouches, tortilla wraps, nachos) in the kit boxes as they passKeeping up with the pace of the line by working as part of the teamEnsuring health and safety compliance in a strictly conforming food production environmentAchieving the targets and job standards set out by the Team LeaderPerforming any reasonable request from the Contract Manager The ideal candidate will hold the following skills and attributes: Food packaging background in a warehouse environmentAbility to work under pressureAbility to work as part of the teamGood attention to detailBeing adaptable and flexible in your approach to workApply with your CV
