Reference: Premises01 Sector: Primary Salary: £12.50 to £14.50 Per Hour Benefits: Experience Dependent Town/City: Tunbridge Wells Contract Type: Contract Term Time Teachers are currently looking for premises managers and assistants to work in local schools to you whether this be Primary or Secondary. Key Responsibilities:Manage day-to-day operations of the school premises, ensuring a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for students, staff, and visitors.Conduct regular inspections to identify and address maintenance needs promptly.Coordinate and oversee contractors for repairs and renovations as necessary.Develop and implement security protocols to safeguard the premises and its occupants.Manage inventory and ordering of supplies related to premises maintenance.Oversee health and safety compliance, including risk assessments and emergency procedures.Liaise with staff, students, and external stakeholders regarding premises-related matters.Requirements:Previous experience in facilities management or a related field.A Trade would be beneficial Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.Knowledge of health and safety regulations.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Flexibility to respond to emergencies outside of regular working hours. We are looking to help schools in the Tunbridge Wells and surrounding areas. You must have the ability to work in close partnership with staff and assist the running of the School on a day to day basis.As the Caretaker you will be responsible for the opening of the School Required to oversee cleaning staff and managing external contractors as and when.There is a level of flexibility required and being well organised ensuring daily tasks are carried out maintaining the School to a high standard.Having previous experience in a similar position would be advantageous as you will be responsible for compliance to ensure the School is up to date in all areas of Health and safety, Fire safety and ensuring the site is up to date with all regulations.
