Learning and Development Business Partner

Four Squared Recruitment are recruiting for a services business looking to expand their HR team and recruit a Learning and Development Business Partner to join them on a full time permanent basis.

The purpose of the L&D Business Partner is to work closely with the HR Team and clients to deliver their people plans. This role is responsible for leading future Learning and Development activities, working with managers to identify the potential and overallcontribution of colleagues.

Key responsibilities -

  • Work with the Head of HR and Learning and Development Manager to ensure that all L&D activities are aligned to the people strategy
  • Work with Head of HR to manage and develop our development programmes
  • Manage and develop our 'Next Generation’ programme which consists of Apprenticeships, Internships and Graduates
  • Work with the Senior Leadership team to ensure that there is a consistent approach to all Learning and Development activities, understanding where collaboration can occur to succeed
  • Work with the HR Team to provide advice and guidance on Learning and Development opportunities
  • Contract Management of training providers to ensure all soft skills training providing the required value to the business and its clients

  • Work in compliance with the Codes of Conduct, Regulations and policies of the business
  • Exercise proper and absolute integrity in respect of all confidential matters and the confidentiality of personal and sensitive information

Essential Requirements -

  • Significant experience of working in a relevant role e.g. L&D or HR-related role with a focus on people development
  • Worked in a project based environment with multiple priorities
  • Experience of managing multiple senior stakeholders and presenting ideas and initiatives

Desirable Requirements -

  • Level 3/5 CIPD in Learning and Development or equivalent
  • Qualified to use one or more psychometric tools e.g. MBTI
  • Experience in coaching, mentoring or group facilitation
