For the right candidates this could lead to a permanent position at the client’s discretion. This is a working farm located in the village of Litton Cheney, Dorchester hence needing own transport to get to site. Entry level is Band A but you can progress upto a Band C once fully trained at clients discretion.BAND A (£12.05ph) Operating and monitoring production equipment safelyBagging and sealing cheese and checking for foreign body contaminants.Undertaking manual handling tasks including hand stacking product/packing into boxes and onto pallets. BAND B (£12.48ph) As above plus:Taking on some responsibility in helping organise work areas of the production lines and set up machinery where training permits to help production run efficiently Use business systems such as NAV and QIS (But not exclusively) to accurately manage/record the movement of all forms of stock BAND C (£12.80ph) As above plus:Sealing product and checking for any quality issues, taking samples, monitoring and recording results as requiredOperate machinery such as bowl choppers, extruders and cutting equipmentResponsible for blending cheese for production, using a variety of base cheeses and additional ingredients to an agreed specification and quality. Working Hours:EarlyJan to Jun – Monday to Friday 06.45am to 15.45pm (42.50 hours)July to Dec – Monday to Friday 06.15am to 15.45pm (45 hours)Candidates must hold: Passport or Birth Certificate with proof of National Insurance INTERESTED?
