FIXED TERM FULL TIME POST- 10 SESSIONS PER WEEK Applications are invited for the above full-time post to join a dynamic Urology team based at Stepping Hill Hospital, who provide services across a managed clinical network covering Stockport, Tameside, Macclesfield, Leighton and High Peak. The post is aimed at those with previous experience of working in Urology at a senior trainee level. This post could be used as a robotic fellowship but also, depending on the training needs of the individual, as a fellowship in stone surgery or reconstruction.. Informal enquiries to Magda Kujawa, Clinical Director telephone The general urological duties include in-patient work at Stepping Hill and out-patient responsibilities between Stepping Hill, Tameside, Macclesfield, Leighton and satellite clinics. In addition, the post-holder will be expected to uphold the standards required for urology cancer accreditation, the cancer standards including inter - Trust transfers and 18 week targets. The successful applicant will be expected to participate fully in a 1 in 7 on-call rota. The appointee should expect that sessions may be re-allocated from time to time to fit in with alterations in circumstances. This may include changes in staffing, introduction of new services, expansion or reduction of existing services and implementation and review of District Annual Programmes. The appointee will be expected to work flexibly within the needs of the service. This cost will be deducted from your first Trust salary In addition to this it will be a condition of your employment that you will join the DBS update service and pay the annual subscription fee of £13.
