Exam Interlocutor and Invigilator

We are looking to recruit interlocutors and invigilators for our English language examinations in Chelmsford. The role requires you to be part of a team delivering a professional examination service, ensuring a calm environment giving test takers the best possible opportunity to be successful.

Tests are usually held on Saturdays and Sundays. You would be expected to work between 7:30am and 6:00pm. Shifts can vary in length between 5-11 hours.

Important attributes for interlocutors and invigilators

• Degree or equivalent
• Excellent spoken and written English
• Strong sense of responsibility and ability to adhere to strict security procedures
• Keen eye for details
• Good customer care
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Ability and confidence to speak in front of a group of people
• Ability to cope with changes/difficult situations
• Confident in using a computer
• Diligent in upholding the integrity of the exam

You will be provided with

• Full training
• Minimum hourly rate of £12.82 per hour including holiday pay
