Are you looking for an opportunity as a Senior Support Worker (House Manager) to manage a staff team to deliver a person centred service for adults varying degrees of learning disabilities within supported living services in Oldham, Greater Manchester.

Vacancy Details for Senior Support Worker (House Manager) : We have an excellent opportunity for a Senior Support Worker to manage the day to day running of two small supported living services in Oldham. (OL8 and OL2 region). Working under the direction of the Team Leader this is a great opportunity for you to leada staff team to deliver a person-centred service for individuals with varying degrees of learning disabilities.

Training will be provided, however, previous experience within health and social care (ideally at Senior Support Worker level) is essential.

Hours of work for Senior Support Worker : 37 hours a week - Monday to Friday with flexibility to meet the needs of the business.

On call is on a rota basis for evenings and weekends, which is paid in addition to your salary.

£70.00 per night for weekend and £35.00 per night for weekdays out of hours.

Day to day duties and responsibilities for Senior Support Worker (House Manager) :

  • Offer a flexible, high quality, person-centred service, which will enable people to live in the community in accordance with their own lifestyle and with independence, safety and respect.
  • Manage a staff team to deliver a person-centred service for adults and young people with varying degrees of learning disabilities.
  • Complete rota’s and plan activities in line with person centred plans, providing new opportunities for service users to experience.
  • Responsible for the day to day supervision of Personal Assistant Level 1 and Level 2 and Support Officers.
  • Ensure all staff are up to date with mandatory training requirements and development as identified.

  • Starting salary of £21,399.31
