Primary School Teaching Assistant

Assisting the class teacher with teaching and learning activities

• Providing support to pupils with learning difficulties
• Keeping accurate pupil records and tracking progress
• Ensuring the classroom environment is safe, engaging, and conducive to learning.

Key Responsibilities :

• Support the class teacher in the preparation and delivery of daily lessons
• Assist in the management of student behaviour
• Participate in school meetings and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications and Skills :

• Minimum of 6 month experience equivalent in a relevant field
• Previous experience working in a primary school setting would be advantageous
• Understanding of current curriculum would be highly beneficial
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to adapt fast and effectively

• GCSE or equivalent (preferred)
