Job DescriptionIT Technician required. Our client is are a UK leading organisation who specialise in IT strategies and solutions to power growth. Working across the South East & beyond, they deliver infrastructure, security, software and support for businesses, schools and other organisations. They are now on the lookout for an outstanding IT Technician to join the team and work at Sydenham School. You will be fully based in the school, with access and support from the IT team in Marden. As they like to operate as a team, there will be times when you may need to undertake training at their office in Marden.They need someone who is customer focussed with an admiration for customer service, great communication skills, and a passion for technology. You will be experienced in giving a first class IT service to resolve client issues. Position Overview First port of call for all your School’s ICT needs – resolving daily support requests Working with school development team to ensure that the schools are getting the best level of service Manageable responsibility for an IT apprentice to ensure they are receiving sufficient training & support Managing & Controlling all technical aspects of the installation, configuration, and maintenance Manage advanced diagnosis procedures on Hardware, software and peripherals Ensure all help desk tickets are logged, tracked and resolved Monitor and manage all infrastructure systems / Manage key services including Active Directory, DNS and Group Policy Filtering, monitoring firewall and anti-virus systems Position Requirements Strong Experiencw with IT and Technical issues A Level in ICT Microsoft Certification – desirable AD, DNS, DHCP, GP – Essential Flexible & adaptable Be prepared to work with students and to train small groups of school staff Excellent Team LeaderHyper-v & VMWare Certification – DesirableCitrix & Exchange – Desirable Position Remuneration Salary £28,000 – £35,000 Monday to Friday 8:30am – 17:30pm25 days holiday including bank holidaysPension SchemeOther benefits discussed at interview stage
