Thesuccessfulcandidatewillbe basedinOmaghandwillhave responsibility forthelocal administrative, clerical and secretarial needs of the head office of our family run construction businesses, currently providing shared support and service to the group companies in the Building, Civil Engineering & Construction sector. The successful candidate will have a diverse range of roles and responsibilities, remotely supporting the business operations based in England while supporting the local expectations of the senior staff in the Omagh office. Reports to Directors Employment Type Permanent full time, flexible working hours negotiable. Min 35 hours per week. Key Roles and Responsibilities (Core Responsibilities) Remotely and locally liaising with and supporting other colleagues roles in the businesses: Accountant,Bookkeeper QuantitySurveyor ICTManager SiteManagers Directors Providesupporttotheaccountsdepartments: Handlinganddistributionofcommunications(email,postanddownloadedfiles from online platforms) Manualandelectronichandlingandfilingofcommunications Securehandlingandprocessingofpersonaldataforstaff,subcontractorsstaff and site visitor in accordance with GDPR. Liaisingwithandcommunicatingtosuppliersandsub-contractors Providesupporttotheremoteconstructionoperations: Handlinganddistributionofcommunications(email,postanddownloaded) Electronichandlingandfilingofcommunications Securehandlingandprocessingofpersonaldataforstaff,subcontractorsstaff and site visitor in accordance with GDPR. Liaising with and communicating with clients, suppliers and sub-contractor staff, gathering personal details of staff attending site and maintaining of a centralised contact system. Supporting of recruitment drives in data entry, compiling and recording of applicant details for progression in the recruitment processes. Telephonereceptionforinfrequentinboundofficecalls. Generaldocumentscanningandfiling. Additional & Shared Roles and Responsibilities Liaising with the ICT Manager and Directors in the setting up, development and deployment of digitised procedures and processes, to create and maintain efficient administrative processes. Officekeyholder. Essential Skills & Qualifications (Core Skills & Qualifications) GCSE Level or equivalent in Mathematics (C or higher), English (C or higher) 1 x Science (C or higher). FullClean(3pointsorless)EUDrivingLicencewithexclusiveaccesstoownvehicle. Experienced in MS Excel, MS Outlook, and the MS Windows file system. Haveagoodunderstandingandexperienceofcontemporaryprofessionalemail communications. Abilitytocommunicateclearlyandconciselyinbothoralandwritten(email)forms. Strongandcommunicationskills. Desirable Skills, Qualifications and Characteristics Construction interest or knowledge. HalfDay/3YearManualHandlingCertification. Highlevelofattendanceandpunctuality. Attentiontodetail. Salary negotiable, depending on experience. Additional benefits: Up to 24 Days holidays (after 3 consecutive years of service). Formalannualminimum2%salaryscale.
