Stock Controller - Small Parts

We are one of the UK’s best known Brompton folding bike dealers!

We are a proud retailer / bike service centre serving customers across the UK and world (dependent upon product) via an online delivery service and just one small store

Our business is mainly bicycles, bicycle spare parts, tools and accessories

We're recruiting for a flexible part-time or full

  • time person to help with our online service. We need an Andy two (or Andrea!)

What does Andy do? A bit of everything that’s needed: Stock management - add products into stock, put products away and update our computer system

Parcel processing - pack orders and book the carriers

Approving invoices

Mending broken things!

Occasionally helping out in the shop

(basically a flexible - can-do anything type of person!)

Main task

Your main activity will be working as part of our team as the person who puts away stock that has come in from our suppliers

We the stock accurate in over 5000 drawers - so when our customers order online they can be confident that the stock quantities are correct

There are also some (though luckily not very many) customer returns to deal with

If required you may also be packing snd shipping parcels to customers

This list is not exhaustive and additional tasks will be discussed and agreed depending on your experience

All activities need to be done accurately to ensure that when we need to find our stuff to send out to customers - it's exactly where it should be! (we don't want to let them down)

We are flexible about contracts/hours that we're recruiting for, which will be discussed if you’re selected to interview

Job Types : Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Salary : £12.00-£15.00 per hour
