An exciting new opportunity has arisen to work in a successful school situated in the London Borough of Ealing. We are looking for a passionate, eager 1:1 teaching assistant to work with our client within their SEN department.

Job role: Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant

**Hours:

• **Monday - Friday (8:15am - 3:30pm)

Location: London Borough of Ealing

**Wage:

• ** £80 - £90 per day (DOE)

Your duties will include but not limited to :

• Supporting the student on a 1:1 basis with their education and emotional needs
• Able to work as a team with the class teacher and SENCO
• Good understanding of the child’s next steps in learning, working through their set targets - (EHCP)
• Reporting any safeguarding disclosures or concerns as necessary
• Partaking in any school trips, activities with the child

Requirements :

• Experience of working in a school or SEN setting (essential)
• Level 2/3 Supporting Teaching and learning in Schools Qualification (preferred)
• Good literacy, numeracy skills

Able to stay flexible and open minded. SEN children are likely to take longer than other pupils to understand something or complete a task. You must be patient and offer as much guidance and reassurance to help them get the task done.
