Company Description

Successful applicants will enjoy working in a matrix organisation where they will report to the Site Operations Manager.

Key Responsibilities will be:

  • Conduct daily checks on vehicles to maintain road worthiness and comply with company and legal standards.
  • Ensure tachograph records are kept compliant in line with WTD and drivers hours regulations
  • Maintain vehicle cleanliness inside and outside of cab
  • Report defects and incidents promptly
  • Safe loading and unloading of vehicles
  • Conducting all tasks as per training and site processes
  • Supporting the Site Cylinder Filling team as required
  • Delivering a high level of customer service to our customers, maintaining and enhancing the company reputation Attending training courses as required

Guaranteed minimum hours per month - 193.5 hours

Expected Salary - £36,000 per annum (overtime and includes £1,000 sign on bonus and £2,000 winter retention bonus)

Qualifications

Mandatory Skills & Qualifications

You must hold LGV2 (C) driving licence with no bans or no more than 6 active penalty points (this can only be for 2 x 3 point offences), your ADR class 2 in tanks and a current Drivers' CPC, Digital Tachograph Card and a current FLT licence.
