Youth Worker

Job description Prospero Teaching is looking for a motivated and resilient Youth Worker to support students in a primary school in Nantwich.The school is for students in Keys Stages 1 and 2 with an Educational Health and Care Plan (EHCP) identifying ASD and ADHD. The position is open to all experienced those you have a background in youth work, sports coaching, support work or have any other experience of mentoring children and young adults. Depending on performance the school would look at either extending the contract or offering a permanent position. CONTRACT/POSITION DETAILS Location -NantwichPosition – Youth WorkerType of work – Classroom supportContract or position start date – ASAPDuration / Likely Duration – Full academic YearMinimum rate of pay – £95 per dayHours – 8:30 am – : Mon – Fri (term time only) EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS Previous experience in a similar settingLEVEL 2 Teaching Assistant/or equivalent and above is preferableGCSE Maths and English and Computer literateUp to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST: Hold Right to Work in the UKHold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new applicationProvide two professional child related references that cover at least the last two years
