Service Desk Manager

6 month contract role

£450 per day

Hybrid working with 2 days in office in South Lanarkshire

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Service Desk Manager to join our team on a 6 month contract basis. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and leading a team of service desk technicians, ensuring that all customer inquiries andtechnical issues are promptly addressed and resolved.

Responsibilities :

  • Manage and lead a team of service desk technicians
  • Ensure that all customer inquiries and technical issues are promptly addressed and resolved
  • Monitor and report on team performance and SLAs
  • Develop and implement processes and procedures to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the service desk
  • Work closely with other IT teams to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues
  • Provide training and support to service desk technicians as needed

Requirements :

  • Proven experience as a Service Desk Manager or similar role
  • Strong technical background, with experience in troubleshooting hardware and software issues
  • Excellent customer service skills and ability to communicate effectively with non-technical users
  • Ability to work in a hybrid environment, with the ability to work both in the office and remotely
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team
