Fabric Recruitment are proud to be working with one of Oxfordshire’s most exciting and unique food service providers, who are very excited to announce the re-opening of their incredibly beautiful and renowned Pub in the local area.
With the reopening just around the corner, they are actively looking for an experienced and inspiring General Manager to drive the Kitchen and Front of House team to the next level.
Description of the role :
- To oversee the daily running of the pub (25 covers), restaurant (75 covers), 2 kitchens, Reception, outside dining area and staff house accommodation.
- Be responsible of the financial controls, compliance, and operational excellence across all catering functions within the location.
- Be fully accountable for monthly figures and meet and exceed budget expectations.
- To ensure the highest of standards when delivering the customer experience
- Clear and efficient communicating with clients and project stakeholders to ensure smooth operations throughout, and ensure all projects are delivered on time
- Responsible for recruiting, training, and retaining an awesome team as well as initiating and driving constant innovation
- Work closely with the marketing team and together maintain a marketing planner.
- Managing staffing rotas, hours, holidays, lieu days and cover
- Holding regular team meetings and briefing to ensure good team communication and cascade of information
- Working closely with the Head Chef to plan future pub and restaurant menus
- Liaising between all Food and Beverage parties, consultation on storage, stock control and staffing requirements
- Delivering expectations in food quality and service
- Have great communication skills and the ability to have strong relationships with various stakeholders
- To ensure all new FOH and BOH starters receive company standard training and ensuring statutory training is complete.
