Key Responsibilities: As an Early Years Teaching Assistant in this exceptional Tower Hamlets school, you will: Provide focused support in the mornings for students with SEMH (Social, Emotional, and Mental Health) needs, including those with ADHD diagnoses and potential self-harming behaviors. Offer essential afternoon assistance, with the flexibility to work across Key Stages 1 and 2 as needed. Potential to Secure Permanent Contract What We’re Looking For: Previous experience as a Nursery or Early Years Teaching Assistant, or in a similar role, is preferred. A proactive, resilient individual who upholds high standards and strives to bring out the best in pupils. Willingness to assist with nappy changing as needed. A strong commitment to putting the needs of children first, with a focus on addressing individual special educational needs. Solid understanding of SEN, safeguarding, and child protection practices. Ability to work effectively both as part of a team and independently. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Please note that a thorough understanding of safeguarding and child protection is essential for this role.
