Job Title: Support Worker/ Personal Assistant Location : York Hours : 20 hours per week (however will increase over time to day and night shifts) Shift Pattern : Part time/Full time Pay Rate : Between £13.65 - £15 per hour We are recruiting on behalf of our client in York area. This client has complex needs including Autism, Epilepsy & Seizure management and Dissociative identity disorder (DID). The ideal candidate must be Female, driver (own car is not required) and have at least 6 months experience dealing with these mental health and care. Responsibilities: Help with daily living activities ie helping with Universities work, going to appointments and gym etc Encourage the client in developing social skills and promoting independence Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure coordinated care and effective treatment plans Document and monitor the client's progress and behavioral data Maintain a safe and supportive environment Must have Skills: Prior experience working with individuals with mental health (essential) Prior experience working with ABI (prefered) Knowledge of applied behavior analysis (ABA) principles and techniques Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with the client, their family, and team member. Must be fluent in english. Must have UK driving licence and business insurance Must have experience in care for more than 6 months.
