The Role

We are currently recruiting for an Accounts Receivable Assistant to join our Finance Team based in Aston, Birmingham on a 12 month fixed term contract. As Accounts Receivable Assistant, you will assist in the production of bank reconciliations, funding and cash flow forecasting for ATS Euromaster.

Key Responsibilities include :

  • Month end bank account reconciliations / Month end balance sheet reconciliations
  • Processing refunds to customers
  • Reconciliation of chip and pin transactions and MOTO and Ecommerce payment transactions
  • Reconciliation of centre cash and cheque banking
  • Investigate and resolve discrepancies
  • Daily and monthly cash flow forecasting and funding calculations
  • Liaising with Michelin and CFM regarding funding requirements
  • Liaising with Area Operations Managers and Department heads to resolve discrepancies
  • Dealing with incoming calls from centres, customers, suppliers etc.
  • Identifying and escalating potential fraudulent transactions
  • Ensureing compliance with internal control polices
  • Perform and complete all aspects of the vendor payment process
  • Ensure manual payments are challenged and kept to a minimum
  • Allocation of all supplier related payments to CODA financials
  • Resolve all payment related queries
  • Allocation and maintenance of standing order and direct debits
  • Assist with external audit when required

Requirements :

  • Experience in a similar role with good working knowledge of account reconciliation, processes and practices
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement skills, strong communication and interpersonal skills to to achieve business goals
  • High levels of attention to detail with excellent organisational skills, strong numerical, analytical skills and good systems knowledge.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong proficiency with Excel
  • AAT qualifications would be advantageous

Contract length: 12 months

Salary : £22,000.00-£24,000.00 per year
