About the role Pay Details: Grade 6, SCP 14-19, £23,484 - £25,927

Hours of Work / Working Pattern: 37 hours - Monday - Friday

Main Place of Work: Barry Police Station / remote working

Description : We require an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join the Community Safety Team. This role is an exciting opportunity to join a creative and dynamic team to develop community cohesion across the Vale of Glamorgan. As well as being the single point of contact for cohesion for community members the post holder will influence policy and strategies to ensure that cohesion is effectively embedded throughout the Vale.

  • The ability to set up and monitor data collection systems.
  • Prepared to work unsocial hours when required to attend evening meetings.
  • Ability to drive/travel throughout the Vale between locations as appropriate.
