Job DescriptionHome Instead Dundee & South Angus is currently recruiting for Care Assistants for Live in care.Only driver positions are currently available for this position – must have a driving licence and have your own reliable car.Live in care shift patterns include 2 weeks on 2 weeks off. Responsibilities include:Live at the clients home - you have your own personal space where your breaks would be and personal belongings will be kept.10 Hour shift with a 2 hour break. Visiting the same clients to allow you to build up a relationship and our client’s have continuity.Home Help – Helping with everyday tasks from tidying, laundry, hoovering and meal preparation/cooking.Companionship – Ensuring clients enjoy social interactions daily from chatting, playing their favourite board games etc to going on social outing days or accompanying to appointments/shopping.Personal care -Supporting clients with every day routines such as showering, dressing, grooming to keep them healthy and independent.Medication support – prompting, assisting etc.Benefits include:Rate of pay up to £840 a week.
