Catering Assistant

We are looking for a Catering Assistant to join our team in Wymondham - 15 hours per week - shift times - 9am till 2pm - 3 days every week, one week to include a weekend.

Duties will include

  • Support our 2 chefs with preparation of meals in a busy production hub
  • Reheating, preparing and serving meals on the weekend you work.
  • Keeping the kitchen and equipment clean and tidy
  • Ensure Food Hygiene/Environmental Health paperwork and Health & Safety regulations are adhered to at all times.
  • To maintain confidentiality and observe Data protection and associated guidelines where appropriate
  • Have the ability to follow chef instructions tasks are required
  • Serve meals
  • Have a friendly and approachable manner with a positive work ethic
  • Understand the needs of the tenants
  • High level of communication
  • Prompt time keeping
  • Accurately record daily meals that tenants receive
  • Deal with tenants that wish to pay cash daily
  • Able to work on own initiative
  • Be presentable and clean at all time
  • Clear down servery area and wash up after service and ensure restaurant is left in a presentable manner
