The ADS Consulting practice is growing significantly and at pace this year. The team provides Business & Transformation Consulting Services, in addition to Data Driven Transformation and Technology Consulting services directly to ADS clients and in supportof wider Sopra Steria business. We have an excellent track record in helping our clients exploit technology, and we are excited by the possibilities to develop this further. As a result, we wish to widen the scope and extend the capability of our BusinessChange and Transformation consulting services.
As our Senior Business Consultant, you’ll be focused on helping clients exploit and maximise the value of technology within their business. Your focus will be to manage and to work within teams delivering alongside our clients, although you will also berequired to support business and practice development.
What will you be doing :
- Collect and analyse information about a client’s operations (as-is) to improve (to-be) its systems, organization, information and processes
- Researching business processes, identifying current problems/blockers
- Suggesting solutions
- Writing reports with recommendations to improve a client’s use of systems, organisation, information and processes
- Analysing the potential impact of your recommendations
- Providing business analysis knowledge and expertise in consulting assignments bridging the divide between the technical and business
- Identifying, nurturing and developing client relationships around your assignment and proactively look to support the identification and development of follow-on work with clients
What you'll bring :
- Degree level education or equivalent, typically in Business, Information Technology or Engineering
- Working towards membership of, accredited institution such as BCS or IET
- General knowledge of the business needs and drivers behind technology transformation and IT service delivery
- Experience of business analysis in the sectors in which we operate coupled with experience of Business Analysis techniques and tools
- Good planning and organising skills
- Experience of client facing consulting in a recognised consulting business
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- An ability to communicate the complex, simply
