With a long established presence on a UK wide scale and a consistent order book this opportunity will appeal to a candidate looking for job security and a technical challenge.Role Description Establishment and maintenance of the Quality Management Systems and associated regulatory, customer and third-party accreditationsLead the identification of root cause analysis and the implementation of robust corrective actions and control measuresLead on audits for the facility, ensuring that due diligence is undertaken to ensure that we are audit ready and that the site is fully prepared and appraised of any audit dates in advanceLiaison with regulators, customers and third parties on any issues which may affect accreditation and product conformance to achieve regulatory, and customer accreditation and satisfactionUnderstand customer needs and requirements to develop effective quality control processesDevelop and review specifications for products and processesOversee all product development procedures to identify any deviations from quality standardsRetain accurate documentation and perform statistical analysisSupport all functional teams in key areas of shared responsibility including training, continuous improvement, risk, process engineering and process responsibilities/accountabilitiesActively participate in contract reviews, assisting with the quality aspects of project management as required to ensure executed success and deliverySkills and Qualifications Experienced Quality EngineerKnowledge of core tools – Ishikawa / 5WHY / 8D ReportingStrong knowledge of manufacturing processesHigh levels of ISO9001 standards & any further (ISO14001 / 1SO1385 / ISO50001)Utilising Lean Tools and Statistics related tools i.e. Six SigmaCompany Information Alternatively, call 01785 450167 for further details.
