  • Cricklewood
  • Off To Work

What do you call a person who is afraid of Santa Claus? What did the Christmas tree say to the Christmas stocking? If the end of the year is on December 31st, then what is the end of Christmas?

Don’t worry, your chances of getting hired won’t be based on whether or not you know these answers. Or will they? ...

With the upcoming opening of our Ice Rink at the Jewish Community Centre London, I couldn’t help but break out the Christmas related content. Here at Off to Work, Christmas is our favourite time of year. We don’t believe it’s ever too early to start celebratingand while we are on the lookout for Santa’s sleigh, we are also looking out for a superstar Customer Service Lead to join our ice rink team and help our Customer Experience Manager deliver the most magical experience this year . Could this be you? !

All skills required for the role will be taught (except for the customer service bit!) , so if you’ve never worked at an ice rink before - never fear - we’ve got you. You just need to be experienced in and passionate about customer service, be abundle of positivity with a great attitude and seeking some regular hours from November through to the beginning of January. You will be the first point of contact to the customers so the ability to smile and lead a team by example is a must!

Your primary role will be to ensure our guests are having a wonderful time at the rink and the whole team is confident and engaging in delivering the best service. This could range from customer interaction (both good and bad!) to singing Christmas songs. No two days will be the same, but both will be packed with fun and full of festive cheer.

So, what’s in it for you? I’m so glad you asked:

  • Weekly pay
  • Pay rates from £13.45/hr (£12.01 + £1.44 holiday pay)
  • Flexible shifts
  • Consistent work from November to January
  • Opportunity to stay on with our casual team come January
  • Friend referral scheme (once your friend works 10 shifts you get £20!)
