Solar PV Supervisor / Project Coordinator

Salary / Package: - Employed Position -£32k-£38k Base Salary + Benefits

Location: - commutable to the Oldham, Manchester region.

Company Background : Excellent opportunity to join a leading provider within the Solar PV and Renewable Energy industry. Our client design, install and maintain a range of commercial PV solutions throughout the UK.

Job Role :

• Working as an Operations Supervisor within the Solar PV market and mainly in an office based position, with potentially some occasional work out to site.
• You'll be responsible for managing all operational aspects of commercial roof-top and ground mounted solar PV projects.
• Majority of projects being anything from 100/200KW through to MW scale and throughout a range of commercial premises such as schools, colleges, commercial blocks, care homes etc.
• Making sure projects are delivered efficiently and to the highest standard.
• This will cover both pre and post installation, as well as scheduling / coordinating staff, ordering materials and providing technical and customer support.
• Responsible for ensuring Health and Safety is adhered to.
• Sourcing and managing installers, engineers, sub-contractors etc.
• Responsible for site surveys, planning support and G99 Applications.
• Provide technical support to colleagues and customers.
• Produce monthly reports and attend monthly management meetings.

Key Skills Required :

• Knowledge and experince within the Commercial Solar PV market.
• Ideally experience with electrical networks and delivering large scale solar projects.
• Experience of coordinating and managing designs and relationships with Vendors, Contractors, EPC providers, DNOs and key stakeholders.
• Experience of Grid Compliance (G99/Grid Code etc)
• Good coordinating and management skills.
