Job Description 6 months contract with a local authority Job Summary: ·          Gathering and accurately recording highly sensitive and confidential data on the designated databases, collating key information relating to Children’s Social Care and partner agencies. Key Duties/Accountabilities: ·          Providing guidance and advice to all enquiries in a timely manner. Taking ownership of enquiries and providing feedback on progress and outcomes ensuring contacts are escalated if appropriate. ·          Demonstrating a clear understanding of the meaning of safeguarding and escalations where appropriate, as defined in relevant policy guidance. ·          Managing appropriate contacts quickly and efficiently enabling a professional decision to be made by the relevant workers within set timescales. Essential Experience Required: ·          Experience of providing business support, advice and/or guidance to others. ·          Experience of forming effective working relationships. ·          Experience of administrative tasks and processes. ·          Experience of inputting data and using databases. ·          Experience of working in a fast paced, innovative work environment, whilst remaining calm. Essential Qualifications Required: ·          GCSE English and Maths, or equivalent qualification or experience operating at this level of literacy and numeracy. ·          A recognised qualification in office skills or administration, or a business related subject at level 2 or 3 of the national qualifications framework, or have acquired equivalent experience within the workplace Additional information to note: ·          Hybrid – Minimum 2 days in the office per week ·          37 hours per week ·          09:00am – 17:30pm The closing date for this position is ASAP.
